Outstanding gas-facility safety and firefighting facility management recognized
The 48th annual Fire Fighting Day ceremony took place on November 9th. Lee Yong-wu, a Safety & Environment Team worker at Yongyeon Plant, received the Minister of Public Administration and Security award at the ceremony.
Mr. Lee, who is in charge of safety operations at the plant, has been known for his professionalism in gas facility safety management and firefighting facility and fire prevention management operations. The award recognizes his dedication to ensuring airtight fire prevention and fighting, overseeing the plant facility against any hazards and gas accidents and improving the workers’ safety awareness.
