The company manufactures tire cord and spandex products that are among the world’s first-rated, as well as transformers, circuit breakers, motors, nylon yarns, PET yarns, PET bottles, films and various other products that are being exported to some 130 countries around the world.

During the ceremony, President Lee commended Hyosung and other award-winning companies, their workers and management on their decades of hard work and dedication. He said their contribution to Korea’s national economy has been a major driving force behind the country’s growth into the world’s seventh largest exporter.

Hyosung plans to continue with its aggressive global management strategies and to focus full-bore on strengthening its global competitiveness.

For Hyosung, winning the export tower award wasn’t the only happy occasion. Mr. Yu, after working for years in Vietnam, was recognized for his abilities to perceive customer needs and satisfy clients with speedy response. He has helped Hyosung and other Korean companies operating in Vietnam by making sure that their business activities are smooth and successful.
