Workers Participate in One-Company-One-River Clean-Up Initiative
Changwon Plant implemented the One-Company-One-River clean-up initiative with 87 of its workers on October 26th. A part of the Hyosung CSR (corporate social responsibility) program, the clean-up took place along the Namcheon River near the plant as well as around the workers’ quarters in Nae-dong.
The One-Company-One-River clean-up also involved responding to a request by the City of Changwon, which was to throw “mud balls” (microorganism) into the Namcheon River to facilitate the river restoration. The program was executed by workers from the Human Resources and General Affairs Team, Labor Relations Team, Production Support Team, Purchasing Team, Production & Subcontracting Support Team, Quality Management Team, Manufacturing Management Team and Factory Innovation Team.
