    Presents Exemplary Cases with Clean, Hygienic Facility Management




    On October 26th, Hyosung’s Gwanghyewon Plant hosted a central-region HACCP council meeting. Presided by the Korea Food & Drug Administration (“KFDA”) in Daejeon, the event concerns food manufacturers based in the Daejeon Metropolitan City or in North or South Chungcheong Province. The member companies are required to live up to the standard that includes not only the physical size of the facilities, but also outstanding quality that could attract other manufacturers for a visit.


    The latest HACCP meeting was attended by the KFDA’s head of the food safety management team. The meeting also included 70-odd visitors from the country’s leading food and beverage manufacturers such as Lotte Chilsung and Dae Sang, who helped highlight the importance of the event. During the meeting, food manufacturers based in the Daejeon and Chungcheong region shared information on various issues relating to their trade. The event served as a meaningful initiative for other companies in the same industry as the participating manufacturers have set an example with their clean, hygienic management of production facilities.
