The 18th 'Clean World & Clean Korea' Anyang River Cleanup Campaign

    The employees of Anyang Plant participate in the citizens’ campaign to save the Anyang River.
    On September 14 about 50 employees of Anyang Plant, the Technology Institute and the Heavy Industry Research Institute and the Electronics Research Institute voluntarily participated in the Anyang River Cleanup Campaign and engaged in a social contribution activity. This activity involved the cleaning of the front gate of Anyang Plant, the Hogye Neighborhood Park near Hogye Gym, the Hoan Bridge of the Anyang River and the river-front near Anyang Funeral Home. It lasted about an hour or so.
    Then, at the riverside behind Jungang Elementary School in Bisan-dong, the 18th Cleanup Campaign was held. At this event, the mayor, the chairman of the city council, members of the provincial and city council, officials of environmental NGOs and the Metropolitan Corps of the Army all participated. This event was held under the supervision of the Gyeonggi Green Environemnt Council in order to cope with global warming and climate change and realize the value of environment.
