    Hyosung ITX acquires the certification for international information security standard, ‘ISO 27001.’
    Its business continuity and IT service security capabilities were recognized.
    Hyosung ITX acquired the international certification for the information security management system, ISO 27001. ISO 27001 is the international standard for the information security management system established by the International Standardization Organization (ISO) and certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI). This is an international standard for the information security management system (ISMS). It allows an organization to take advantage of the testing practices of leading companies around the world, confirming the framework for carrying out information security management and applying the lessons.
    As the value of information has emerged as an important factor in determining the continuity of an enterprise, Hyosung ITX systematically established the information security procedure and processes in order to protect the information assets essential to its business. As Hyosung ITX passed 133 control items in 11 areas, as specified by the ISO, including security policies, classification of assets and risk management, the company became the first CDN service provider to acquire ISO 27001.
    The certification screening was conducted for all information assets, physical assets, document assets, utilities and software necessary for providing CDN and IT services.
    As a result, Hyosung ITX has secured business continuity against cyber intrusions, system operations and various disasters and its security competencies for provision of IT services (e.g. development, operations and management human resources, have been recognized).
