A group of eight guests including Qingdao deputy mayor Zhang Hui and Executive Director Sun Huan Qin visited the Mapo HQ on April 11. Qingdao is a seaside city where Hyosung built a steelcord plant in 2003. During the visit, Industrial Materials PG President Cho Hyun-Sang and Tire & Industrial Reinforcements PU President Kwon Ki-su joined the guests to talk about the special relationship between Hyosung and Qingdao. PG President Co talked about how Hyosung is expanding not only throughout China but also around the world and added that ‘partnerships with shareholders is crucial in the markets we launch in. I hope that Qingdao and Hyosung can continue to create a good model of cooperation.” Zhang Hui, the deputy mayor, said that she appreciates the contribution that Hyosung made in developing the city and that she will “support the operations of Hyosung business for the mutual growth of the city and the company.”
