Hanmaum, a Gumi Plant volunteer group, visited ‘Geuruteogi’, a children’s center in Wanjeon-dong in Gumi, on May 21. Geuruteogi is an extracurricular study group for children living under the poverty line. Hanmaum volunteers joined Childfund Korea to offer support in replacing wallpaper and laminate flooring while carrying out various tasks to make the facility better. The informal group for tennis also participated in bringing back the green in Cheonsaeng-san on May 19. Members of the groups and their families collected garbage along the hikers’ trail on the mountain to create a cleaner environment.
