The employees at the Eonyang Plant decided to boldly face the current situation of the plant and they united to overcome risky times, establishing harmony and stability in an event called ‘We are ONE 2011: Unity Training’. The employees were divided into three groups (1st May 18; 2nd May 23; 3rd May 27) for the training session. Part 1 included topics such as securing quality early on for new products and establishing a stable production system to meet the common goal of labor and management through explanations of the current business situation. It also addressed becoming more competitive in the steel cord market through innovation, attaining and spreading technology as the ‘mother plant’ and other tasks that all employees need to complete together. Part 2 included talking and walking the mountain trail in order to foster a greater sense of unity, while Part 3 offered an opportunity for everyone to release their stress from work.
