The economic delegation team headed by Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg visited the Mapo HQ on May 19 and met with Cho Hyun-sang, President of Industrial Materials PG. In addition, the Luxembourg Minister of Economy Jeannot Krecke and Ambassador Paul Steinmetz also joined the team.
This visit was both a token of gratitude by Luxembourg to Hyosung, which operates a tire reinforcement plant in the country as well as being a step in establishing long-term cooperation with the country.
Prince Guillaume and Minister Krecke mentioned that Hyosung’s operation in Luxembourg is seen as a successful business and that they wish the company can solve pending issues through closer talks with the government.
Mr. Cho Hyun-sang expressed thanks for the support that the Luxembourg government is offering to Hyosung and said that he hopes “the ties of cooperation with Luxembourg will grow stronger”.
Hyosung participated in the Luxembourg investment conditions presentation organized by the Prince at the Shilla Hotel. Hyosung explained some of the local production experiences in the country to potential investor companies. An evening banquet followed the event.
