Hyosung signed an agreement to buy 3,200 sacks of rice for a year from Haman-gun in Gyeongsangbuk-do for its ‘Grains of Love’ campaign. The ‘Grains of Love’ that were grown in Haman-gun will be used to help communities near Hyosung businesses. They will also be distributed to single elderly people and those children living below the poverty line in Mapo, where our head offices are located. Chief Administrative Officer Cho Hyun-taek said, “We have been distributing rice every year through our ‘Grains of Love’ campaign as part of our social responsibility efforts, but we recently signed this agreement because we wanted to add more to the meaning of sharing with others. I hope that this could be helpful to those farmers in the country who, even after a year of work, cannot find a buyer.”
