February’s Proud Hyosung Member Prize Award ceremony was held at the Mapo HQ on March 31. Hyosung Good Springs PU Deputy Senior Manager Lee Jae-il, Manager Kim Young-du and Manager Lim Byeong-chun with the Fresh Water Sales Team from the Power & Industrial Systems PG received the honor on this day. The group was selected for meeting the most exacting technical features and standards of any RO equipment in the country for the custom construction of an industrial water works project in the Daesan Coastal Industrial Area. This project was the Water Commission’s first industrial water distribution project; the group was recognized for their work in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) industry as well as the fresh water industry in the country.
In the contracting process of the largest fresh water project in the country, Manager Kim Young-du, in charge of sales, obtained early information about the project and foreign technology, then secured an advantageous position by building up a strong relationship with the Water Commission and the builders. Deputy Senior Manager Lee Jae-il and Manager Lim Byeong-chun proposed more stringent technological criteria than the competing consortium in the technological support and evaluation processes, thus providing a secure foundation in the bid to sign the contract.
