2011.03.10

Hyosung agreed to help provide medical support for disabled and financially marginalized people in the Ho Chi Minh area in Vietnam together with the Purme Foundation, on March 10. Hyosung delivered \70 million for medical support to the Purme Foundation office in Jongro, Seoul. The foundation will use the funds to gather a volunteer medical team (to be dispatched to Vietnam in August), to provide dentistry, pediatrics, rehabilitation and eastern medicine services. For this campaign, Hyosung employees at the Vietnam office will also join the volunteering team. The Vietnamese students that are recipients of Hyosung’s scholarship support will also participate to provide help with translation services and cleaning around the villages.
