Proposing new alternative for dairy industry
Gwanghyewon Plant recently successfully created a new range of interesting products, such as packaging for milk tea and soy milk and plans to launch them to consumers this spring. The new products include Binggrae’s a-café-la tea in ‘Royal Milk Tea’ and ‘Green Tea Latte’ flavors and Soy in My Hand soy milk, as well as Dongsuh Food’s Tio ice tea drink in ‘Peach’ flavor.
Binggrae’s Soy in My Hand soy milk particularly stands out; conventional soy milk was normally marketed in either cartons or glass bottles, but the new product sells soy milk in PET bottles, suggesting a new alternative for the dairy industry as it struggles with the foot-and-mouth disease crisis. Starting with Soy in My Hand, Hyosung is planning to soon release packaging for a variety of other soy milk products.
