Variety of functional items showcased
The Fabric Dyeing PU participated in the Premiere Vision 2011 Spring/Summer Exhibition at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center for three days starting February 8. The Premiere Vision Exhibition is the world’s largest clothing/fabric exhibition held twice a year, to showcase the trends of the upcoming season. The Fabric Dyeing PU has been participating in the event for each seasons on an annual basis and this year it put functional fabric products for outdoor/sports, uniforms, RTW and bags on display and provided over 140 buyer consultations. This event was a showcase for the fabric trends to come out during the 2012 S/S season, with 669 participating companies from 29 countries and approx. 40,000 guests from the fashion industry in attendance. Buyers showed great enthusiasm for Hyosung’s innovative products made from recycled fiber Regen, signaling the growing demand for green products in the industry. There were also a lot of inquiries about conventional products, such as breathable waterproof fabrics for outdoor jackets and super lightweight fabrics for down jackets, as well as functional products, like both cool touch and heat generating fabrics. A lot of the inquiries were made about mixed-fiber fabrics due to the recent surge of more casual trends. Additionally, Hyosung was praised by many international buyers for its marketing efforts that included fire-resisting protective fabrics, as well as Robic and Regen, fabrics for bags newly added this season.
