A reminder on the meaning of sharing
Hyosung HIS held the ‘Lunar New Year Rice Sharing’ event on January 27, in collaboration with the Daechun Welfare Center. Members of Hyosung HIS personally visited the physically challenged and elderly who are living alone in the Ilwon-dong neighborhood in Gangnam. They were kind enough to distribute 100 bags of 20 kg rice and have friendly conversations with them, with the ultimate goal of truly reflecting on the meaning of sharing. The funds for the rice were put together through a small, regular donation off from each of the paychecks and the entire process was completed through the voluntary participation of employees.
