To help with cell transplants for children with leukemia
As part of a social contribution campaign, the Eonyang Plant has raised a total of \5.23 million from March to December 2010. Plant Chief Yang In-Tae, administrative staff and factory workers all participated in the efforts.
The company’s matching grant brought the total funds to \10.454 million KRW, which was donated to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation in Busan.
One child to benefit from this donation is Lim Jun-seo (4th grader at Mugeo Elementary), who is battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He will have cell transplant surgery in February.
