More industry-academia cooperation anticipated
The 1st ‘Hyosung Technology Innovation Forum,’ organized by the Power & Industrial Systems PG, was held on January 20th at the Anyang Training Institute. Presentations and discussions on the direction of HVDC, Smart Grid policies, EV motor technologies went on in the forum. Over 40 people were present, including Hyosung representatives like CTO, Advisor Shin Hee-seung, executives and research team GMs as well as a technical advisory board made up of 11 professors, including Seoul National University Professor Han Min-gu and Myongji University professor Han Byung-mun as guests. This forum is expected to strengthen the industry-academic cooperation for the advancement of Power & Industrial Systems PG such as securing advanced technology for Hyosung through collaboration with the best university R&D centers and the recruitment of customized top talent members.
