Delivering books to schools in town and various articles to needy neighbors
The employees of the Changwon Plant raised money in the one-person one-account drive as part of the nationwide campaign to diffuse the book reading culture. With this fund they bought 23 million KRW worth of books and delivered them to the Changwon Office of Education. In addition, 70 books were delivered to 46 schools in Changwon respectively so that elementary school students could read them.
Meanwhile, on December 30, the Changwon Plant delivered the rice and blankets, purchased with the money raised through the one-person one-account campaign, to 285 low-income households in Changwon. The employees delivered rice and blankets in person to the needy neighbors in Seongsan-gu, Changwon, and practiced neighborly love with the local community.
