Hyosung celebrated its 41st founding anniversary on Nov. 2 at its headquarter in Mapo, Seoul. At the ceremony, the company awarded prizes to long-service executives and employees, while reminding all its staff of its founding spirit. The anniversary ceremony was held with about 300 executives and employees of Hyosung attending. 
Vice Chairman Lee Sang-woon said in his speech, "Let's have fresh intention and enthusiasm to create a new future on the 41st anniversary of the company's founding. Through this effort, let's develop Hyosung into a first-class global enterprise that can create the highest value." He continued to stress the need to build Hyosung as a proud enterprise. He said, "We envision a future in which all executives and employees are proud of their company, all our customers accept Hyosung as their proud partner, and Hyosung is loved and respected by society and the country." He concluded his speech by asking Hyosung executives and employees to cultivate the world's top competitiveness for their company, aspiring to global excellence.
During the ceremony, Hyosung awarded prizes to about 100 long-service executives and employees who have dedicated themselves to the company for a long time. On Nov. 3, the founding day of Hyosung, the members of each performance unit, or division, of the company hiked a mountain or held an athletic meet in efforts to renew harmony for the company's development.
