- Holds 40th Foundation Day ceremony
Hyosung, which marked the 40th anniversary on November 3rd, held a Foundation Day ceremony at the headquarters, and smaller ceremonies at respective worksites, to commemorate the occasion.
The Foundation Day ceremony, which was held at the headquarters auditorium on November 2nd, was attended by some 300 executives and staff members. President Lee Sang-woon said,"It is the historic mission and responsibility levied now upon us to lay the solid foundation to ensure that the 40-year legacy of Hyosung achievements since its foundation continue to last in the 100 to 200 years to come.” He urged "Let's become a global top-class company by continuing to pursue changes and innovation and creating the best values."
As strategy for the Company to become a global top-class player, he proposed to put into practice the following tactics: reinforcement of global management capability, development of products and exploration of new businesses, and implementation of thoroughly customer-centered management based on quality management.
During the ceremony, 219 staff received long-term service awards for their dedication over the past years.
