Hyosung Information System participated in the u-Paperless Korea conference held on March 10, and presented on “Efficient management of IT resources through online archiving.” At the event, Hyosung Information System introduced Hitachi Data Protection Suite (HDPS), an outstanding file archiving solution, and Hitachi Content Archive Platform (HCAP), a representative electronic document and archiving solution, which boasts many references, including major official electronic document archives, Kookmin Bank, Green Cross Life Insurance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the National Archives of Korea.
HDPS offers the functions of high-level protection of database, data management, and integrated data management in a network comprising different types of storages. HDPS integrates the functions of backup, restoration, scheduled copying, archiving, and storage resources management technology based on easy-to-use GUI. Moreover, based on deep understanding of storage architecture, the system presents the best protection method and applicability design for respective applications. In addition, by optimizing backup and restoration, it constantly manages the performance of solutions, while increasing productivity.
As for storage exclusively for electronic documents that need to be recognized as the original copy, the most basic elements are product’s excellent performance, stability and expandability. In this regard, HCAP, which is supplied by Hyosung Information System, is a powerful storage platform based on an advanced architecture, which banks on a new technology, and which goes beyond the capacity of the conventional storage systems.
Lim Hyun-soo, senior vice president at the public sector business headquarters in Hyosung Information System, said, “I am very glad that we were able to participate in this u-Paperless Korea event for the second time after last year,” adding, “Hyosung Information System will redouble efforts to provide quality solutions in order to promote the development of the electronic filing industry.”
