    - World soccer body certifies three sites including Seongnam Stadium, Kyungil University’s main stadium

Three stadiums equipped with Hyosung Evergreen artificial turf have won certification as official international soccer grounds from FIFA. The three grounds were certified after LABOSPORT, FIFA’s laboratory in France, conducted onsite inspections together with Korean officials following completion of lab tests last year. The stadiums earned certifications as international standard soccer grounds, as they exceeded all required scores in tests of 10 different factors, including ball bounds, ball’s moving angles, shock absorption, and rotational resistance. The grounds were rated “1 star,” a level of the international standard ground, where all types of international soccer matches hosted by FIFA, except for the final matches, can be held.

There are 18 soccer grounds that are certified by FIFA as “1 star” facilities in Korea, and 34 in Asia. The three grounds, where Hyosung’s Evergreen artificial turf won the FIFA certification, are Seongnam Stadium in Gyeonggi Province, Kyungil University Main Stadium in North Gyeongsang Province, and the soccer ground at Madong Residential Park in Gwangyang, South Jeolla Province.
