Nautilus Hyosung establishes automated teller machine system for Shinhan Bank

-A branch automation solution, the first of its kind in Korea

An automated teller machine for main teller counters at banks developed by Nautilus Hyosung was installed at branches of Shinhan Bank. The automation system, the first of its kind in Korea, is designed to alleviate counter tellers’ workload and enhance the efficiency of the overall operation. The newly installed system will reduce the inconvenience experienced by counter tellers, such as withdrawing or depositing cash from/to the branch’s safe through the main teller or having to rely on the main teller for immediate cash take/handover.
The newly adopted system makes it possible for tellers at counters to withdraw/deposit cash from the branch’s safe without going through the main teller by having the entire process handled by computer, which means prompt and accurate management of cash on hand.
