'Let's Turn Crisis into Opportunity for Success': Ceremony marks 42nd Anniversary

Marking our 42nd anniversary, Hyosung commemorated the significance of the Company's foundation with ceremonies and by presenting awards to staff for long-term service at various workplaces, including headquarters. At a commemorative ceremony held at the headquarters that brought together more than 300 executives and staff, Vice Chairman Lee Sang-un reflected on the history of Hyosung that has grown into a global company, and discussed the difficult economic situation at present. He then urged company-wide efforts to pool wisdom and capacity to overcome the crisis. He said, "Let's transform today's crisis into a great opportunity to create a history of continued success," calling on the Company to become a strong player that can win over competition with any firms in the world.
During the ceremony, the Company also recognized more than 50 staff for their long-term service. Meanwhile, different PUs and worksites held events of their own, including mountain hiking, where staff members got together to renew their commitment to the development of the Company, on Foundation Day, which fell on November 3.
