Hyosung Information System successfully holds '2008 HIS Information Technology Seminar'

- Next generation IT technology, storage trends introduced; success stories shared from customers' perspective

Hyosung Information System successfully hosted "the HIS Information Technology Seminar 2008" at the Shine Ville Resort on Jeju Island. The event drew more than 150 key clients. Highlights of the seminar include the trends of next generation IT technology and storages, expansion of storages resulting from surging data volumes, and latest technology for virtualization and scene provisioning designed to resolve such obstacles, and models for integrated storage infrastructure. Also featuring were some of the latest trends in the sector, including three data centers designed to recover from glitches and collapse, technology and solutions aimed at establishing green IT technology, which drew keen attention from customers.

Hyosung Information System also presented systems for recovery from disasters, virtualization of storages, and practical models and solutions in utility computing and integrated management. Notably, big name clients, including Samsung SDS, and G Market, have introduced success cases and solutions that they developed through Hyosung Information System, and shared information, which drew keen attention from participants.
