General Manager Kim Kwan-woong, and team leader Han Ki-wook at Hyosung Ebara Engineering have been honored as the winners of the Honorable Hyosung Staff awards for May, as they were credited for their roles in winning a project to build a water sewage treatment facility in Qatar.
Kim and Han, who have been making continuous efforts to develop the Middle East market where only a few of construction companies have been operating, successfully won in an international bid for the water sewage facility project in Qatar. The Company was in a disadvantageous position due to a lack of experience in similar projects, but has overcome shortcomings to successfully clinch the project banking on outstanding technology, while beating out big-name foreign rivals.
