Hyosung win orders for six compressors for CNG filling stations in Bangladesh

    - $2 million order to spread use of CNG-powered vehicles


    The Company won orders for six compressors for CNG filling stations worth $2 million from Akij in Bangladesh. The orders include three full sets of filling systems for CNG filling stations, and tube trailers, which are designed to supply gas to daughter stations in areas with no pipelines. As a result, the Company is expected to play a major role in the program to spread CNG-powered vehicles that is underway in the state of Jakarta, Indonesia.
    The Industrial Machinery PU supplied compressing facilities (1 compressor and 2 filling systems) worth $700,000 to Jakarta, Indonesia, for the first time in August. The PU won an additional contract to supply filling systems worth $3 million for a "Bus way project" in Jakarta last January. Through these achievements, the PU has laid the foundation to expand its exports of CNG filling stations to the Southeast Asian market. The PU is holding negotiations to export products to other countries in the region, including Malaysia and Thailand. The PU aims to diversify it's business portfolio to include the construction of LNG filling stations and hydrogen filling stations.
