The "Third Hyosung CNG School," a training course for compressed natural gas, was held at the Changnyeong Training Center in South Gyeongsang Province for thee days from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1. It was attended by a total of 31 people from 14 urban gas suppliers and seven transportation companies across the country.
The "Hyosung CNG School," the third of its kind this year, targeted CNG technicians who handle CNG equipment, including CNG compression packages and filling facilities. The program consisted of lectures, including explanations on major CNG facilities and their maintenance and repair, and on-the-job training of various kinds, including how to examine CNG compressors. This year's CNG course particularly focused more on how to disassemble and inspect compressors than on how to learn about theories, resulting in better enhancing the effects of the training.
The annual CNG program is aimed at training technicians of urban gas suppliers and transportation companies across the country, who use Hyosung's CNG compression packages and filling equipment. This is Hyosung's consumer satisfaction program aimed at preventing accidents, cutting the need for frequent after-sales services, and improving its customers' technique of maintaining and repairing their CNG filling stations.
