Invited to give a special 'Technology and Enterprise' CEO lecture
On September 30 Vice-chairman Lee Sang-woon gave a special CEO lecture to students of College of Engineering, Seoul National University. This lecture is the first special lecture of the 2nd semester as part of the ‘Technology and business - Business Administration for Engineering Students’ course offered by the College of Engineering, Seoul National University.
An alumnus of College of Engineering, Seoul National University and a representative engineer-turned CEO, Vice-chairman Lee covered the ‘Korean enterprises’ strategy for successful globalization’ in this special lecture. He talked about the continued globalization of the world economy, the global business performance of Hyosung Spandex and his journey from an engineer to the CEO of a large corporation.
He also said “a true globally talented person is one who has the world’s best competency in their field. Given this context, I want all of you to continuously study and try to become a global talent who can contribute to a better life.”
