The opportunity provided kids tours around famous destinations and sites in Seoul
On Saturday, August 21st, Nautilus Hyosung PU took out children from mining towns to “Seoul Tour,” a community volunteer program.
Hosted by the corporation Global Vision and sponsored by the PU, this outing offered the mining-town children from Gangwon Province an opportunity to tour around the travelers’ favourite sites in Seoul, thus creating memories during the summer recess.
Accompanied by export-team employees from the PU, 35 children from mining towns rode in the Mt. Namsan Cable Car; visited N Tower, the anime center and the KBS station; embarked on a Han River cruise boat; and ate giant pork cutlets, enjoying the day’s colourful programming.
Sine June this year, the Nautilus Hyosung PU has been strengthening its corporate citizenship programs, expanding it to include the 1-team-1-program initiative in addition to its year-round implementation of cultural support for children from low-income families, laughing therapy for single elderly households, social skill improvement programs for children with disabilities and family outings for those less-unfortunate homes. The August 21st event was part of the family outing initiative.
