Five homes in Mapo-gu receive side dishes, computers, etc.
Good Friends, a Hyosung employee club and their family became good Samaritans on July 17 to five families living in dire straits. The club members and their family shared their love and support by offering desks and laptops to sixth-graders living only with their grandparents; home-cooked side dishes to siblings from inter-cultural homes; and computers to children from single-parent families, living with their fathers.
Although the rainfall on that day proved to be quite a hassle, Good Friends’ compassion and ongoing visits to low-income families in the community once again offered a tremendous emotional boost for the recipients.
