MKE Announcement June 24; Market Diffusion Support Program Starting July
Nautilus Hyosung has developed the ‘mobile financial transaction kiosk robot’ and has been selected by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) as a ‘trial service business for market validation of service robot’.
The MKE has announced the selection of testers on June 24 for the market validation and trial service of 11 service robots. These include a window cleaning robot and a restaurant host/order taking robot, as well as the mobile financial transaction kiosk robot – in order to further enhance quality and to secure the market. Starting in July, the MKE is to roll out the support program for the market diffusion of these service robots.
The service robot at Nautilus Hyosung moves along the designated route indoors and offers PR/advertising service through its LCD screen and voice; it also works as a moving kiosk in robot-format, which can provide payment services and coupon/ticket sales services upon receiving query from the customer.
