Educational and cultural programs for children from low-income families
Starting on July 26, Hyosung operated a 15-day summer program for the Let’s Share Hope School 2010 with Good Neighbors. The sessions were offered to 1,641 children from low-income families in both the Seoul and Incheon areas
The school was put together to provide age-appropriate programs to youngsters who, due to several financial difficulties, have fewer opportunities to experience a healthy diversity of educational and cultural programming. The children enjoyed a wide variety of activities, including learning about nutritionally-balanced diets as well as language and arts training in English, Chinese characters, music and fine art. They also partook in various entertainment events such as the cinema and outdoor activities. Social welfare services were also provided for these children through home visits and individual counseling.
