Information & Communication PG Nautilus Hyosung Gumi Plant Achieve 12-fold Accident Free Goal

    Nautilus Hyosung Gumi Plant has managed to stay accident free, fulfilling its goal to stay accident-free by a factor of 12. It was awarded a certificate from the North Gyeongbuk Field Center of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA).

    Through the tremendous effort of plant manager Cho Yong-in and everyone else at the plant, the facility has remained accident-free for 5020 days (counting from May 24, 1996 to April 3, 2010), which is roughly 14 years, thus meeting 12 times the number of days from the original goal to stay free of accidents.

    Woo Dong-woo, Associate of Safety Management, received a certificate plaque; Sr. Manager Jang Seong-hi, selected as the Person of Merit for industrial accident prevention, has won the KOSHA Director’s Citation Award.
