B-boy performance, scholarship award and other events
The “Hyosung Week” venue opened at the Republic of Korea Business Pavilion for Shanghai Expo 2010, where customers and local residents were invited for various events, including a B-boy performance.
Jiaxing College students from Jiaxing, Zhejiang were invited and awarded scholarships, as Hyosung is seeing the Expo as an opportunity to expand their charity work events in China.
Cho Hyun-taek, chairperson of the Jiaxing Hyosung Chemical Fiber, said “these events were prepared to show the audience the various social contributions, wind-power and other environmental businesses that Hyosung makes in China and as a way to proactively communicate with the local people.”
