R&D Business Labs President Makes Keynote Speech at MKE Event

The Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) hosted at the KINTEX starting June 8 and President of the Hyosung R&D Business Labs Sung Chang-mo made the keynote speech on the “Expansion of Global Open Business and Korea’s Challenge” at the 2-day event.

He spoke about a variety of studies on successful cases both at home and abroad of technical innovation through the introduction of the open innovation concept and Korean government policies that revitalize the idea. This full-package fair promotes the strategic partnership between global leader corporations and Korean parts manufacturers, whereby joint R&D, better trusting relationship, M&A, investments and other business partnerships were supported. Fifty-four companies from nine different countries – such as Rolls-Royce, Sanyo, Dow Chemicals and Mitsubishi – were in attendance.
