Power & Industrial Systems PG Attends Global Electric Power Tech 2010

2010.05.18

Hyosung’s Power & Industrial Systems PG attended the Global Electric Power Tech 2010, which kicked off on the 18th. Smart grid, one of the event’s main themes, is an intelligent power grid system that came to fruition by incorporating cutting-edge IC technology into the process of power production, transport and consumption. All of this allows for better supplier-consumer interaction and increased grid efficiency. For this conference, Power & Industrial Systems PG and Nautilus Hyosung co-invented an electric vehicle charging kiosk as their official entry. The new model drew acute interest from attendees for its high efficiency, less-than-30-minutes charging time and clean, chic design. Held at COEX in Seoul’s Samseong-dong, the Global Electric Power Tech 2010 was attended by 195 Korean companies and 117 firms from 31 countries around the world. Among the attending local companies were Hyosung and other conglomerates, as well as the majority of the small and medium-size enterprises in power generation and related industries.
