Hyosung ITX Releases New Grid CDN Entitled ‘Terroir’

2010.04.08
The new product to offer custom-tailored services to customers
On April 8, Hyosung ITX and Peering Portal, Inc. jointly launched ‘Terroir,’ a product geared to offer tailored services to customers. One of the most prominent features of the co-developed brand is the service does not use the customer’s resources at its disposal or without limits. In addition, the new service will allow customers to save on per-line set-up costs, the biggest challenge of P2P service. This will help provide them with opportunities to create additional revenue by joining forces with Hyosung ITX’s advertisement platform, thereby attracting the attention of customers. Terroir has already been implemented to high-definition live broadcasts during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. By offering the most stable service compared to that of other local portals operating in the same time slot, during which the number of users would skyrocket, Terroir has proven the outstanding quality of grid CDN technology.
On its latest partnership deal with Peering Portal, chief of CDN Operations of Hyosung ITX, Kim Chan-yong, commented: “We hold the highest value in creating sustainable, win-win collaboration models with our partner and offering the best possible services to our customers.” “With the latest partnership in place,” he added, “we will make sure all participating parties (i.e., Hyosung ITX, Peering Portal and client companies, will win together).”
