Revolutionary 3-D display draws crowd with distance-control abilities
Galaxia Electronics showed off its massive 438” 3-D multi vision system (9.6m in width, 5.4m in height) at the inaugural 3D & VR Product Exhibition, which took place at COEX Mall. The show was a huge success, with 2,000-odd people visiting the exhibition every day.
The company also showcased a particularly significant item, its revolutionary 3-D display unit, which is the first of its kind in Korea. The item will be used to realize 3-D imaging in various industrial programs, including concerts, TV studios, promotional halls, architectural structures and 3-D broadcasts of global sporting events.
As opposed to normal 3-D displays with performance deteriorating at and beyond a certain distance when standing away from the projector, thereby blurring the difference between 2-D and 3-D imaging, the performance of Galaxia Electronics’s 3-D system is unaffected by the distance factor. The model is being hailed as the top-notch product by professionals in the event and entertainment industry.
