Various programs offered by two teams throughout Mapo-gu Community
Good Friends, a volunteering organization composed of Hyosung employees, carried out their Good Samaritan work for the community divided into two teams in the Mapo-gu District on April 10. Some of the volunteers headed out for the “Side Dishes on Wheels” service while the rest of the organization members went over to the Food Market (Branch No. 3) in the district.
At the market, they helped with indoor operations such as arranging and displaying products, serving at the café, taking care of customers at the cash register, as well as helping to deliver groceries to lower-income families in the district.
Planning on offering continued volunteer service, Good Friends are recruiting a sizeable number of new members, leaving their door open constantly to anybody interested.
