Hyosung invited members of the Busan Boys’ Home orchestra to the concert by Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble, which was presented at the Seoul Arts Center (SAC) and moreover, opened a music class wherein the young musicians can be coached directly by world-renowned performing artists.
The internationally acclaimed cellist and the members of the multi-national orchestral ensemble coached the children during a one-on-one sessions despite their hectic schedule to prepare for the next performance, offering encouragement and inspiration to the budding musicians.
Hyosung is strengthening its Mecenat program and social contribution activities, as demonstrated by its sponsorship for the Curtis and Friends show presented at the SAC this past February, a charity event aimed at helping the victims of the Haitian earthquake.
