The labs director receives innovation award in commemoration of 43rd Science Day
On April 21, which was the 43rd anniversary of Science Day, Sung Chang-mo, director of Hyosung’s R&DB Labs, received the Innovation Award, a Grade-2 Order of Science and Technology Merit. Held at the Science Hall of the National Science Museum, the awarding ceremony honored 80 individuals who have contributed to the advancement of science and technology, including medals, prizes and Presidential and Prime Minister commendations.
The event was also attended by 600-odd people including movers and shakers from politics, including science and technology professionals — such as the Korean Prime Minister, Jung Wun-chan; the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Ahn Byeong-mahn; and the president of KOFST, Lee Gi-jun.
