Ryu Pil-gu, CEO of Hyosung Information System (HIS), an independent Hyosung corporation, announced on February 11th that the company is changing its current corporate organization of 12 operations, 24 teams, and 1 regional office into the new system of 10 operations, 27 teams, and 1 regional office. The latest reshuffle aims at corporate restructuring through integration of divisional functions.

On the meaning of this latest corporate revamp, the HIS president said, “2010 is the year we celebrate our 25th anniversary of founding. I believe it is the year that we need to come up with future-oriented business strategies to ensure bigger growth.” He added that the company is securing unparalleled competitive power through the latest reorganization.
