Hyosung Tire & Industrial Reinforcements PU’s Ulsan Plant held on the 18th, a quality awareness training and team-based management plan presentation at its TPM training hall.
During the program geared for managers in Grade 4 or higher, the director of the plant, Hwang Jeong-mo, led the presentation where standing issues in quality awareness enhancement were raised in the wake of the recent Toyota recall incidents and OJT in the topic was provided. This was followed by individual team presentations given by industrial materials companies (including ACE); Steel Cord Production Teams 1 and 2; Lyocell Production Team’s Global Integrative Technology Team; Technology Innovation Team; Quality Assurance Team; and Tire Reinforcement Team’s Preservation Team.
Each of the presenting teams presented their achievements in 2009 and plans for 2010 across production management fields, such as production, costs, quality, approval, and safety. The teams also announced their selection of core implementation issues and specific action plans based on the issues identified.
