Park Tae-yeong, Hyosung Senior Vice President, Receives Government’s Reward for his Contribution in Plant Industry
Knowledge Economy Ministry holds meeting to urge greater competitive power in the country’s plant industry
On the 23rd, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) held a meeting to help increase Korea’s competitive power in the plant industry. Hyosung’s Park Tae-yeong, Senior Vice President and President of Power Systems PU, was selected a major contributor to the country’s securing orders in the plant industry from clients overseas. He was rewarded with prizes from the government during the event.
Currently managing global sales operations at the PU, Mr. Park has been focusing on expanding the overseas export market in ultra high-voltage transformer, with his efforts being recently demonstrated in garnering the order to build substations in Qatar. It is reported that he played a big role in securing the deal.
