Serves as venue for showcasing noted artists’ works
Galaxia Electronics installed the world’s largest LED media canvas (99m by 78m) on the outer wall of the Seoul Square Building (formerly, Daewoo Building). The new installation is five times larger than the one installed on the Kumho Asiana Building in Gwanghwamun, which used to be the largest one installed locally.
The Galaxia Electronics canvas is creating enormous buzz thanks to the high-profile media art works being displayed, including some of the finest media art projects by international artists such as Julian Opie, the world-renowned pop artist, and Yang Man-gi, Korea’s emblem of media art. The dazzling LED visual fest alternates between 10-minute segments each hour, from 6 to 11 PM during the winter program.
