- Received Minister Award by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy
YongYeon 2nd Plant was selected for the ‘Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) Green Technology Merit’ at the World Green Growth Conference for EIP held on October 22nd. Plant Manager Sang-deok Park of YongYeon 2nd Plant received the Minister Award presented by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.
This conference, hosted by the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation and sponsored by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, is an event aiming to steadily discover environment-friendly fields through industrial plant core businesses and energy/environment technology convergence to create new growth engines, and exchange information while seeking potential in establishing eco-industrial parks.
YongYeon 2nd Plant received the award in recognition of the effects from incineration plant steam providing business nearby and various energy reduction activities.
