Nautilus Hyosung acquires the first EMV certification in Canada

Monimax 500CE of Nautilus Hyosung became the first EMV-certified commercial (white-label) ATM. It should be noted that Nautilus Hyosung’s product was the first EMV device to be certified in Canada. Furthermore, the specialized message format developed by Nautilus Hyosung was certified by TNS Smart Network, one of the top 2 DPs in Canada, to prove the technological prowess of Nautilus Hyosung.
President John Dominelli of TNS Smart Network expressed, “It is a great achievement to receive the EMV certification before anyone else in Canada. I would like to express my thanks to Nautilus Hyosung.”
Many companies in Canada are launching the full-scale efforts to acquire EMV certification because all transactions are scheduled for EMV conversion by 2010.
