Hyosung, Field trip to aquarium with physically and mentally challenged adolescences

Hyosung explored ocean with physically and mentally challenged youth.

On August 9th, Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps held a culture experience event at AuqaPlanet ILSAN with physically and mentally challenged adolescences from the Shinmok Welfare Center operating in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.

This cultural event was planned to help the challenged youth to communicate with the world through group activities with members of the Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps.

The challenged youth and members of the Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Crops, teaming up in a buddy system, observed and explored the broad range of fishes and animals displayed in the AquaPlanet.

Ever since making its first step in 2013, voluntarily made by directors and employees of Hyosung, Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps has continued this event for the fifth straight year, and is lending a hand to 4 welfare centers in Seoul including Shinmok Welfare Center and Seungmin Challenged Youth Center.

Hyosung’s endless efforts to share love was recognized in 2016, by winning the “Sharing People Award”from the prime minister, and being honored by the Korean Red Cross.
